Abstract |
This paper provides background and update on demand control ventilation (DCV) technology for commercial buildings, its penetration and acceptance in the market, and to identify what evidence there is that such systems are benefiting current building stakeholders in terms of energy savings, improved indoor environmental quality, and reduced complaints. The paper also provides a basis for a study design to assess the effectiveness of existing DCV systems operating under real conditions. |
