Abstract

This webinar, hosted by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, discusses solutions for improving Distributed Energy Resource (DER) interconnection processes and associated timelines. The webinar builds on the recently published DER Interconnection Roadmap by the U.S. Department of Energy's Interconnection Innovation e-Xchange (i2X).

The webinar covers solutions to increase economic efficiency through coordinating DER interconnection with distribution system planning, improving coordination and data sharing between the DER interconnection process and electricity system planning processes, and flexible interconnection.
