| Abstract |
The International Energy Agency (IEA) workshop “Doubling Energy Efficiency – Unlocking the Potential of Energy Management for Industry” is part of the IEA’s ongoing work stream on industrial energy efficiency and the key role the sector can play in helping governments achieve the goal of doubling energy efficiency improvement by 2030. It was an invitation-only event targeting industry experts and stakeholders (energy management systems practitioners and policymakers), with the aim of creating a community of practice. This presentation included reflections, learnings, and resources related to energy management in the industrial sector in the U.S., with a focus on 50001 Ready and the motivations for engagement. |
