E2C Expert Match Technical Assistance: El Centro, California

Energy to Communities (E2C) is an innovative, technical program that helps electric utilities, local governments, and community-based organizations meet their progressive clean energy goals. The Expert Match program is designed to provide short-term, no-cost technical assistance for communities seeking to answer a near-term.

This document provides an Expert Match Technical Assistance (TA) Overview for the United Domestic Workers (UDW). UDW is a social justice union consisting of more than 171,000 home care and family childcare providers across the state of California including El Centro.  To create more welcoming and accessible spaces for the El Centro workers, UDW is seeking to upgrade its buildings potentially adding solar, storage, and electric vehicle charging stations.  UDW is seeking technical assistance in the design and cost effectiveness of these upgrades.
