%X <p>This paper reviews the problems and potentials for using daylighting to provide illumination in building- interiors. It describes some of the design tools now or soon to be available for incorporating daylighting into the building design process. It also describes state-of-the-art methods for analyzing the impacts daylighting can have on selection of lighting controls, lighting energy consumption, heating and cooling loads, and peak power demand.</p>
