AB - <p>Berkeley Lab, in partnership with the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners and National Association of State Energy Officials, provided training in Charlotte, North Carolina, on December 11-12, 2024, on Integrated Distribution System Planning 2.0: Planning for Electrification and Distributed Energy Resources. The audience&nbsp;included state energy offices, public utility commissions, utility consumer advocates, and U.S. Department of Energy Fellows. The training included peer-sharing, office hours with trainers, a half-day state action planning workshop, and the following technical courses:</p><p>• Integrated Distribution System Planning Overview<br>• Forecasting Loads and DERs: Emerging Methods for New Challenges<br>• Distribution Planning Modeling<br>• Distribution Planning With DERs: Integration and Valuation<br>• Considering Equity and Engaging Stakeholders<br>• Distribution Planning for Transportation Electrification<br>• EV Rate Design<br>• Distribution Planning for Building Electrification Coordination Across Planning Processes</p><p>The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Electricity and Building Technologies Office supported the training.</p>
