The ferroelectric film which is predominantly c-axis oriented, with a small degree of a-axis orientation, is epitaxial with the underlying LSCO and does not show any interfacial reaction. The LSCO film is epitaxial with the LAO substrate. LSCO films shows a doubling of lattice periodicity which is shown to be a TEM specimen preparation artifact.
